It is an initiative taken up by Dy. Commissioners of police. The club has been basically set up to provide safe and secure atmosphere in the society and to support them to cope up with difficult situations in life. Direct help line has also been given to students.

The word 'Saanidhya' denotes closeness, togetherness. It is an apt choice for the name of an alumni association that was initiated to bring together women from this institution – the recently graduated alumni - to keep alive their spirit of camaraderie, their desires.
